The Austrian Mint has released the 2012 Silver Philharmonic Coin! Due to unprecedented demand for a silver coin to match the highly successful and popular Gold Philharmonic, the Silver Philharmonics were minted and are available now.
Minted in .999 Fine Silver
Each 2012 Austrian Philharmonic Silver coin is struck in 99.9% pure silver. These coins are crafted with intricate details and are almost identical to the Gold Philharmonic coins, with a few additions.
Guaranteed Silver Content
Each Silver Philharmonic Coin contains 1 troy ounce of fine silver.
Beautiful Unique Designs
The obverse of each brand new Silver Philharmonic coin bears the inscription “1 Unze Feinsilber,” or “1 ounce pure silver,” located below the “Great Pipe Organ” of Vienna’s Golden Concert Hall, home of the Philharmonic. The obverse also bears the country of issue– Republic of Austria, the date, and face value of 1.5 Euros.
The reverse of each Silver Philharmonic coin displays an incredibly popular design– the bouquet of Philharmonic instruments.
